It held its own.It’s an AHA, BHA, and PHA complex, which on paper sounds like your face is going to feel like it lost an argument. It doesn’t. I’m almost 40, oily, with fine lines and large pores. I layered this into my routine a few nights a week without any issue. No irritation, nothing I regretted the next morning. My skin didn’t get upset about it, which with actives is not always a given.The texture is lightweight, and it absorbs clean, nothing sticky, nothing tight. In a full layered routine it sits where you put it without disrupting anything else. It didn’t pill through my moisturizer or SPF, which is the thing I care most about when I’m already stacking products.After a couple weeks I noticed my pores looked cleaner. Not dramatically, but in the way where you catch your skin in good light and think “oh, okay.” The texture around my nose and chin got smoother. My skin looked more settled overall, less congested.What I appreciate is that someone thought past the acids. Glycolic handles surface texture and pore refinement. Salicylic goes deeper for congestion. PHA keeps the formula from being aggressive while also hydrating. Cica, panthenol, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid are in there so your barrier doesn’t pay the price for all that exfoliation. Niacinamide for oil balance on top of everything. It’s a lot going on, but it works together without feeling like too much.The tube has a precision tip for targeted application, which is useful if you want to focus on specific areas rather than spreading it everywhere.It’s unscented, and for something with this many actives is the right call.Since it earns its spot next to more expensive serums I’ve used, I’d consider it a fair value for the money. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants consistent exfoliation that doesn’t require babying your skin for 2 days after.

I may come back in a week and edit this review if it turns out something else was going on, like my house tapped into the fountain of youth, or someone was sneaking some sort of potion into my food. I have used this cream for 3 days now and my skin looks noticeably more youthful. I am in my late 50s, and I have pretty noticeable nasolabial, marionette and lip lines, noticeable enough that I have been considering fillers. Well, if this continues, I won't need to do that. I will of course need to buy a lot of this serum.If I sound incredulous about the results, it's because it's so significant that I have a hard time believing something could make an impact in a few days. My skin is smoother, brighter, tighter, younger looking. I have never had a product do this. All I have used is my normal cleanser and this cream, mostly because I have a few dark spots, I was hoping it would help. Those spots persist, but it's only been 3 days. See that is a normal reaction to using a product for 3 days.I can't swear that what I am seeing is because of this serum, but I have done nothing out of the ordinary so it would seem, it's the only change. Of course results may vary but I think if you see half the results of what I am seeing, you should try this stuff.At $32ish an ounce this is not cheap, but it is more affordable than fillers and no needles are required.

I am such a huge fan of Korean skincare for my 46 year old, dry and aging skin. Arencia is one of my favorite brands and I recently had the opportunity to order and try their Eraser Shot Glycolic acid Booster. This is a facial moisturizer that is designed to soften rough skin, soothe the skin barrier, clear clogged pores, balance excessive oil, while moisturizing. It is formulated with nice ingredients including the Glycolic Acid and BHA, but also niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, PHA, AHA, and antioxidants. This is a 1.01 ounce tube of a serum style product that came well sealed. I ran the ingredients through an analyzer, which showed that it is free of alcohol, oil, sulfates, parabens, added fragrance, and is reef-safe, cruelty-free, and EU-allergen-free. It does contain silicone, and is not fungal-acne-safe. I do not typically have a lot of acne, but I do have a lot of issues with clogged pores and blackheads. At the time this arrived, I happened to have a decent breakout going on from using a cream that contained several oils - so it was well timed. This serum is slightly thick in consistency and has no real scent to it. It massages easily into my skin and absorbs at a reasonable pace. After using it, my skin feels soft and moisturized. In a couple of days, the breakout on my face is starting to fade. So far, I am really liking this booster. I have not had any adverse reactions at all. The quality of this product and the ingredients are great - and the price is so reasonable. I think this one is a great value and look forward to keeping it in my skincare rotation!
