My skin is sensitive and I like to try new things and roght now I've gotten into this and it's make my skin feel so hydrated. The photo maybe not a good picture but my skin has never looked better

This is a nice face cream and I’ve never used one like this before. I thought the “capsules” would be more of an individualized thing that you would have to pop open but it’s more like just bubbles of product in another product. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was expecting.I don’t mind the scent - it’s light enough after the moisturizer soaks in that it doesn’t bother me. I’d prefer it not be scented, of course - I don’t feel like face products need fragrance and it just adds an unnecessary ingredient that could possibly irritate the skin.I figure my skin needs all the things so I usually just grab one pink and one green along with the clear gel that comes with them. It rubs on smoothly and absorbs well. It’s effective and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. It gives lasting hydration all day without being sticky or greasy.I feel like this is a good “two-for-one” kind of face cream that addresses different issues in one product for one price. And you really just can’t beat Korean beauty items for quality, so you know you’re getting your money’s worth. I received this in February of 2026 and it doesn’t expire until 2028, so it has plenty of shelf life.

I’ve tried quite a few k-beauty capsule creams from different brands with mixed results. Still on the lookout for the perfect one, I was really excited to try this one from Dr. Melaxin. It looks really beautiful in the jar and the colored capsules are surprisingly defined. I’ve tried other capsule creams where the capsules were half mixed into the gel upon opening the jar for the first time, but I’d say this one does a great job of somehow keeping the thicker cream capsules intact.The clear part of this moisturizer is a true gel, which I quite like. If you’re looking for lighter moisturizing, you can just use the gel alone and still get beautiful, glowy skin. I like scooping out the capsules in my nighttime routine before bed when my skin is a bit drier. Either way, it absorbs quickly, is very gentle, and isn’t sticky, leaving my skin looking very glassy.One thing I will note is that it does have a pretty prominent scent to it. Personally, it doesn’t bother me but I don’t really feel it’s necessary either. Just keep this in mind if you are sensitive to perfumy-scents.Overall, I really quite like the results from this gel cream and can’t wait to see the long term results.

I have been testing out this Dr.Melaxin Cactox Pore Relief Dual Capsule Cream for a couple weeks and I mostly like it. The pink and green capsules look so cool in the jar and they feel very fresh when you put them on your face. My skin feels really hydrated and soft after using it and it didnt make me break out or anything.The main reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it takes a little while to rub in. You have to apply the pink ones first and then the green ones and if you are in a rush in the morning it can be kind of annoying to wait for each layer to absorb. Also the little spatula it comes with is a bit small so its hard to get the right ratio of pink to green capsules sometimes.Overall it is a really neat product and my face looks much smoother and more glowy. I just wish the application process was a little faster for when I am busy. If you have the time for a longer skincare routine then you will probly love this!

I can't tell you if this product specifically improved my skin because I layer multiple products and it's nearly impossible to isolate one thing. Here's what I can evaluate:The dual capsule concept is more than just a gimmick. The idea of separating active ingredients to prevent degradation before application is actually sound formulation thinking. Green capsules deliver cactus extract for hydration and sebum balance, pink capsules deliver PDRN and vegan collagen for repair and firmness. Keeping them separate until use preserves potency. Cactus mucilage as a hydrating ingredient is interesting and underused in Western skincare. It has genuine moisture-retention properties. PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) has emerging evidence in skin repair, mostly from clinical dermatology. It's not a gimmick ingredient.The "instantly removes blackheads" claim is where I'd pump the brakes. Nothing topical instantly removes blackheads... that's not how pores work. Pore appearance can improve with consistent hydration and sebum regulation over time, which this formula could reasonably support. But instant? No.The format is super fun and the ingredient rationale is legitimate. Just ignore the more dramatic marketing claims and judge it on what the formula can actually do: hydrate, soothe, and support barrier function over time.

I am very sensitive to fragrance, to the point that some are classified as allergies for me. I avoid all fragrance as a result. Skin care products can be hit or miss for me. Obviously, if they're too heavily fragranced, even when it comes to SPF, I'm smelling it all day and either uncomfortable, or washing my face thoroughly to remove/reduce the scent until it wears off. It's a shame that it's so heavily perfumed, as it works so well. I tried it twice and now I'm planning to give it to my sister, as fragrance doesn't bother her. It definitely hydrates, which my skin needs, and it's lightweight, and it doesn't seem to clog my pores. It is great to use after the peel-shot, as that made my skin a bit dry after.I do think that it's a good value for the amount included, and for the variety. You can use the gel, or the pink, or the green, or use them all together depending on what you need. A little, a lot, it all works well. And it made my skin so soft and kind of dewy looking. Excellent effects, and my skin felt soft, smooth, and not sticky at all, even after sweating a bit while using it.Just miss me with the fragrance. Put out one with no fragrance and I'll buy a case. It's a great product and it works well pretty quickly.

The hydration this cream has is Amazing. A little bit goes a long way. It brightens the skin so nicely. Great value for the money.

This is very hydrating on my skin but it's very thick in texture, also a little sticky until it absorbs. I definitely feel like it helps keep my skin soft, but no more than other moisturizers if I'm honest. It didn't cause any irritation on my sensitive skin (I use retinol) and it was effective as my skin stayed hydrated when testing. You can use one or both color beads to do slightly different things which is cool but I feel it would be a waste to not use both parts equally so I tested it by doing so. Overall I do recommend this, particularly for dry skin types. For combination skin I don't think there's much benefit using this over other moisturizers.

This review is for the Dr.Melaxin Cactox Pore Dual Capsule Cream. It comes in a 65gram glass jar with a small application spatula. There are 3 main components in this, the pink cactus fruit pdrn, the green cactus stem elixir, and the clear hyaluronic acid base. I initially followed the directions and used 1 whole pink bead followed by 1 green bead and found it to be too heavy and thick for my skin. I had to wash it off and used half the amount instead. The cream has a ton of beneficial ingredients and is very moisturizing and makes my skin look smooth and bright. There is a slight fragrance to it but it's not offensive or overpowering. At $23 I think this is a decent value of used sparingly. If you're using 2 or more whole beads you might run out very quickly.

I’ve been using this nightly for about a week or so now with no obvious results yet. The clear gel (cactus mucilage) is VERY thick, use sparingly as a little goes a long way. Your face may feel sticky for a bit after application while it absorbs. It can be a bit tricky to scoop out the capsule with the included spatula as they are like a cream suspended within the gel - if you poke into another one, you’ll get the residue from it as well. My face does not feel dry at all in the mornings when I wake up, which is more than I can say for some of the Medicube stuff I’ve also used. It does have a fragrance to it - to me, it’s a light clean scent. Think aquatic floral cactus. I’ll update this review when I’ve been using consistently for 4-6 weeks.

Love this item. I only have to use two of the capsules when I apply. Feels wonderful on my skin. Can be a little sticky after, however, I just blend again and it is absorbed.
