Works as advertised

I've been using this overnight after cleansing and doing my skincare routine. I feel like the mask helps my face absorb toner and serums I use. It has fragrance added to it that gives it a strong rose scent that I don't really like. I find that I have a hard time peeling it off right after it fully dries, but if I leave it on overnight, it comes off without any issues. Once off, it leaves my skin soft and glowing for several days, so I only apply it maybe once or twice a week.

I absolutely love this! It’s very thick, dries fast, but is not uncomfortable to sleep in. The peel off is easy in the morning. Highly recommend.

Heard a lot about this overnight mask so tried it. I actually loved it. The next morning when I peeled the mask off my skin felt smoother and seems to tighten it. Can’t wait to use it again.

Dr malacson has taken it to another level. Astaxanthin is more powerful than vitamin c which this mask helps correct dark spots and melasma. You can leave it on for 30 minutes or overnight.

Frequently find myself between stars on a product and this was one of those. I really like the product overall but not super practical based on my preferred overnight routine, skin, sleeping habits, and spraying on sunless tanner before bed which doesn’t work well when using this product. Comes out of tube in a thin gel like consistency and is easy to apply and disperse. It says 20 mins to dry but I think it was closer to 2x that for me despite applying a thin layer while testing it out on multiple occasions. Once it dries there’s a mild bit of pulling which you’d expect with a peel mask, although not quite as tight as many other peel masks that you remove after 10-20 mins of use since this is intended for overnight use. However, as someone in my mid 30s who likes the sense of hydration and anti-aging products at night, that mild pulling/dry sensation was a bit off-putting. I’m a face sleeper usually, and as a pro, there was no product transfer onto my pillow once it dried. It was easy to peel off next AM, and yes, my skin felt quite soft after peeling in the AM. Again, I do think the product is really great overall and has a ton of benefits for skin. However, using it overnight as advertised was a bit uncomfortable for me. I’ve bought other Dr. Melaxin products that I’ll have on hand for life (rice peel shot is next level and got a ton of friends and fam hooked on it), but still up in the air on this one in terms of future buy. I’m going to try it out on my days off work wearing a few hours during day instead of overnight so I can stick to my typical nighttime routine of serums and creams and see how it goes that way. Due to benefits, ease of use and removal, I’m still giving it 4 stars but felt I had to remove a star for prolonged drying time and slight uncomfortable pulling sensation which isn’t practical for overnight comfort or sunless tanning. As with any skincare product, YMMV.
