I do love a bit of Korean skincare, so was excited to try out this serum...and I've not been disappointed!Arencia is a Korean vegan skincare company (not sure why there's no mention of it being vegan in the product listing, as this is a definite plus for a lot of people).The packaging is quite nice, with the exception of the sticker on the tube. I understand why it's there, but it does cheapen the look of the product sadly.That being said, at around £20, this is a fairly affordable skincare, but is it any good? Well, yes actually.I've been using it every other night for around a month. I'm only using it every other night because it contains retinal, which is around ten times stronger than retinol, so it can be quite harsh on some skin types. I'm in my 50's and don't have a lot of really noticeable wrinkles, except for my 11 lines. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth have visibly decreased, and even the 11 lines are looking so much less pronounced. So all in all, I'm very pleased with the results so far.Would I recommend? I'm not used to seeing real visible results from a cream or serum, but I can definitely see the difference with this product. I've had comments from people saying I look fresher, or like I've had a good night's sleep. That'll do me, so yes, I'm 100% happy to recommend this product.

We've been trying this Arencia Retinal Serum, and my wife is particularly obsessed with it (lol).She loves the smooth, creamy gel texture and the easy-to-use tube (she says thats big in K-beauty.) It absorbs nicely without feeling greasy or causing irritation on her sensitive skin.She's noticed her complexion feels softer; it looks visibly smoother, and her pores appear more refined after consistent nightly use. For anyone new to retinoids, it's a potent formula, so starting gradually, perhaps every other night, is wise to avoid potential irritation. I tried it a little too readily and had a bit of peeling happen, but easing off seemed to help

I love this stuff! It’s is fairly priced for an eye cream considering the great ingredients. I use this one in the evening and their vitamin C eye cream in the mornings and never had any issues. I definitely noticed fewer wrinkles around the eyes after several months of use!

This retinal serum has been a delight to use, unlike some other serums/lotions/potions which can be very harsh.It has not caused any sensitivity, although I have been using other retinol products for many years so I wouldn’t necessarily expect a reaction to it unless it was to a different ingredient. It is a thicker texture than you’d expect from a serum, more of a gel/serum hybrid. You do only need a small amount, it spreads easily so a little goes a long way. It’s not particularly hydrating, so following up with a good moisturiser is a must.I haven’t noticed a significant difference in my skin as yet, however it has only been a few weeks and I will definitely continue to use it.It’s not super pricey for a good skincare product, it definitely isn’t the cheapest out there. Lower mid range I’d say, price wise at £20. Won’t break the bank, will repurchase.

I’ve been using this serum consistently for just over a month now and I’m genuinely so impressed with the results so far. I didn’t expect to notice a difference this quickly, but there has definitely been an improvement. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a miracle cream and the difference is slight but after just a month use I am impressed and looking forward to seeing the results after longer use.It’s easy to use and blends in nicely. It fits into my routine without any effort. The packaging feels very good quality and well thought out and it hasn’t caused any sensitivity near my eyes unlike some I have used. It also hasn’t caused any outbreaks. It feels moisturising, my skin feels hydrated and it leaves me with a lovely glow after use.Overall, I’m very pleased with how it’s performing. Seeing results already after a month is a big plus and I’m looking forward to seeing further improvements with continued use. I would happily recommend it based on my experience so far and will continue to purchase in the future.

So this is technically a serum... but it looks and acts like a cream. Fascinating, lol. The tube itself is gold and it's small and dinky but in a nice way (not a scrimpy product type of way), very easy to squeeze it without accidentally wasting product. The serum itself is a bright yellow colour, it's smooth and thick-ish. There is a little bit of a smell when you first apply it, I personally wouldn’t say it’s fragrance-free, but looking at the ingredients, there’s no added fragrance and it doesn't particularly hang around so no issues.It's a little pricey but quite average for a good k-beauty brand, and I do think it'll last well since you only need a very small amount, a little blob is more than enough for my whole face. It glides on really nicely and doesn’t tug, it feels quite cushiony going on, and gives, again, more of a cream feeling rather than a thin, slippery serum feeling. Once I've rubbed it in, it absorbs really nicely. Pretty undetectable matte finish, imo.This is one of those ingredient lists that looks a bit intimidating at first glance because it's packed but there's lots of good stuff in it. Retinal is more effective form of vitamin A than standard retinol but usually your skin can handle it a bit better. Retinol always seems to make my skin purge but this was absolutely fine. There's also niacinamide texture and ceramides s to support the skin barrier so basically, it’s doing a lot!I use this at night and it's my final step. My skin always feels soft after it and it never burns or irritates my face. I haven’t noticed big visible changes yet but that’s fine and completely realistic based on the ingredients in it. This is not a 3 nights and your face is transformed product, it’s a commitment one. You have to be consistent over a long period of time, it's definitely one of those products where the results will come from sticking with it rather than instant gratification but based on how it feels on my skin taking it well and how strong the ingredient list is, I’m more than happy to stick with it and recommend it!

Great quality night serum that has been helping me the last few weeks with my skin routine. I find the serum non greasy and absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling nourished, hydrated and smooth.best of all I have had no irritation to my sensitive skin.

I like this Arencia Retinal Serum. I've been using it at every night as part of my skincare routine, applying it after I wash my face but before putting on a moisturizer. It comes in a very attractive gold tube. Though they call it a serum and I guess it is one, it isn't a liquid like most of the serums I've used. Instead, it is more of a cream.The cream itself is easy to apply. It doesn't take much to cover the face. It's light feeling and unscented. It absorbs quickly into the skin and I don't feel any tackiness or greasiness. The product contains 2% retinal (they call it Retinal A Complex) which can be irritating to the skin so they suggest using it every other day initially which I think is a good idea. They also have several warnings on the box and the listing including that this shouldn't be used with Vitamin C (I assume they mean serums). Also, retinal creams are best used at night and not worn in the sun without appropriate sunscreen.I ran the ingredient list through the INCIDecoder database and there are a few superstars and numerous goodies in the ingredient list. They call glycerin, niacinamide and retinal superstars and there are more than 20 goodies. There are no icky ingredients at all apparently which is always good. Fragrance is one that often shows up as icky, but since this is unscented, it makes sense that none showed up.The product is manufactured in Korea and it feels like other really nice Korean skincare products I've tried. Both the packaging and product are well designed and a pleasure to use.

As someone who has started to get fine lines, I have been enjoying this serum. It has a lightweight formula and sinks into the skin quite fast. The retinol does not sting nor has any scent to it. Over a period of time I have noticed an improvement in my skins texture especially around my eyes and forehead.
