Dr. Melaxin Astaxanthin Brightening Ampoule 30mL

This serum is a milky white color that is a mediun texture (not watery, and not super thick) and spreads well and easily. It absorbs pretty quickly, and doesn't leave me too sticky after, nor has it caused any irritation in over a week of daily use. I also haven't noticed any difference yet in terms of brightening or wrinkle reduction, but 1) know that this can take up to 12 weeks with astaxanthin, and 2) already use niacinamide and vitamin c and have probably already seen as much progress as I can expect in the way of evening out skintone and reducing the appearance of freckles.In English, it says there are only 6 ingredients, but given the avaialable concentrations on the box (4.3% niacinamide, 0.01% astaxanthin) that doesn't make sense. The full ingredients list is only in Korean, but after using an online image translator can see that both lists include great ingredients that have all proven to be quite effective and are gentle for sensitive skin. I also really appreciate that it has the percent niacinamide on the box because this is a staple ingredient for me and so many products have it that it's nice to be able to know how much I'm using when I combine differemt serums and moisturizers that include it so that I'm in the zone that's best for my skin and not using too much.

Well packaged in a box. Glass bottle with a spoiler. Easy to use and apply to my face.The expiration date is showing on both outer box and actual bottle. Expiration date is Dec.26 2026.I have few of dark spots on my face from the strong sun living in California. So I always use Vitamin C serum.I consider this DR.MELAXIN Astaxanthin Ampoule works better than the regular serum with the ingredients "Astaxanthin" per researching.Upon applying this ampoule, my skin feels so soothing and hydrated.I could tell my skin is more even tone with less redness.Definitely works well on my dry and sensitive skin.

This ampule is interesting, because it’s not really a serum but helps to target problem areas, for me it’s a slight wrinkles and few spots on my nose. It’s helps with moisture and overall skin appearance, give it a bit of the boost and evens out skin tone somewhat. I haven’t seen major improvements and been using it for about a week now. It’s also need to be used with skin care routine because it’s not really moisturizing, it’s more like a corrective addition. Now my big concern that it wasn’t sealed in anyway and when it comes to my skincare, I like things sealed for safety reasons.

Both have been crucial to keeping my skin’s sebum balanced. With oil control comes clean pores and no pimples.It is a lightweight ampoule that absorbs quickly. I always dry my face & hands thoroughly before applying any serums. Then, I ensure the serum absorbs into my skin before applying moisturizer. If I don’t, I get a sticky, icky feel.I find if I want results, I must be consistent and patient. Missing applications slow the benefits of the product on my skin.HOW I USE:1 - Cleanse my face,2 - I apply 3-4 drops of this ampoule on my face.3 - LAST, I finish with my usual moisturizer.DR.MELAXIN - Astaxanthin Ampoule works well with the other skincare products that are part of my facial regimen.EXPIRATION DATE: 12/26/2026I always check for an expiration date before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products.This Ampoule is as advertised, and works well. I bought this mainly for pigmentation around my cheeks and it really helped. The niacinamide and astaxanthin formula feels gentle yet effective. My skin tone looks more even now and the small dark spots are fading slowly. It gives a soft glow without irritation. Definitely a great serum for daily use

I've been using now for 3 weeks. I see absolutely no change in anything. No brightness, no hydration no rank or reduction.This doesn't work television forest on the hills of that.I don't work on anything. I will continue using can we change my review if I see any results.

With consistency it really helps keep my complexion fair and consistent. Feels nice to sleep in as well.

I like this ampoule. It has a nice gel-like viscosity and absorbs quickly into my skin and has not caused any irritation. I like that it has no smell. Since I have been using it, I have noticed a general lightening of the dark spots on my cheeks. I have noticed that my skin tone looks brighter since I have started using this. I will continue to use this ampoule in hopes of seeing even more improvement. Overall, I am very happy with this ampoule and think it does a good job of evening out my skin tone and lightening dark spots I have on my face making my skin look brighter, in general.

Layers clear and nicely however I haven't seen any clear results from it after a few weeks of use. I try to take astaxanthin pills to try and get that "healthy glow" so I was kind of hoping as an ampoule/serum it might boost that but that might've been my own delusional hopes. Don't think it works topically the same way, however I didn't notice much brightening to my dark spots.I do appreciate the short ingredient list though! I am not sure if the ferment will disagree with my flora/FA flare-ups long term but TBA

I'm starting to get a lot of freckles on my face lately and they're becoming very noticeable. I haven't really noticed any distinguish changes to my skin but will definitely continue using. It has a thicker appearance than what I'm used to but it does get absorbed into the skin quickly. It also leaves a sticky feel but it disappears once I follow it up with a moisturizer.

This review is for: Dr. Melaxin Astaxanthin Ampoule, 30mlThis is the second product I've used with Tranexamic acid. I suffer from sun spots and have used hydroquinone to suppress these spots. Of course I am also aware of hyperpigmentation with long term use of hydroquinone so I try to take long breaks in between. I had not heard of tranexamic acid until last year when I started to use a product with a month on and a month off. I can't be sure which one it is but my sun spots have been in check. If I find myself at the beach, I do go back to using hydroquinone just to take care of my skin immediately. This is easy to use, serum consistency.

I have been using this ampoule for about 3 weeks now and I like how it makes my skin feel. It doesn't feel harsh, my skin didn't seem to mind it because it didn't look or feel irritated after the 3 weeks of use. I am not solely using this product as my night time moisturizer but it is an addition to my other moisturizer. It is easy to apply, doesn't feel heavy, sticky, or tacky. I can't say how this works for existing blemishes and imperfections because I am mainly using this as a prevention. I recently had some of my sun spots laser-ed so I am trying to keep any additional sun spots from appearing again, which is why it is so important for me to keep up with the prevention routine. This product is excellent for that. I did take a look at the ingredients list and while I'm fine with most of it, I did notice there is a silicone in this. I try to avoid silicones but I'm not going to say it is a dealbreaker. Hoping to see some progress with sun spots over time, but until then DR.MELAXIN Astaxanthin Ampoule feels great on my skin. The serum is a medium weight, somewhat gel like product that absorbs quite quickly and well. I appreciate that it's not scented. I was able to use this before applying makeup with no issues.

There's a lot to this facial serum. Goes on somewhat thick, but spreads easily across the face. Absorbs fairly well, but I do find that it will leave a bit of dewiness on the surface of the skin. Takes a while to fully absorb, so be patient. Because of this, it is good to use with gua sha tools or dermaneedling. With regular use, it will help to brighten the skin as it helps to even out the skin tones. It's not a miracle serum, so it will not fully eliminate those dark spots, but it will help to lighten them. Works fine with other skincare products, but do allow it sufficient time to fully set before moving on with your other products.Good for most skin types, but I think that it's best for those with normal to dry skin. It's fine for my mature combination skin, but I prefer to use this on my drier days.

My skin responded well to this ampoule. I didn't experience any irritation or sensitivity, but it was a little drying for me. The serum itself has a good texture (not sticky, very lightweight), doesn't smell bad, and it absorbs quickly

Im not sure yet about this product. Definitely to soon to tell. I do have very sensitive skin and need to patch test new products. It did turn me more red than usually but I'm going to give it a few more tries. It has very good benefits to it. Hoping I see them after using it again a few more times.

This serum is really nice and easy to apply! It’s on the thin side, so I like to tilt my head upwards and gently release a drop or 2 at a time onto my face. Rub it in from there.If you drop this into your hand to apply first, you’ll be wasting a lot of product, so don’t go that route.I do have some sun spots I’m looking to tackle, so hopefully this will help with those!I also live in a city with high levels of pollution, so I can use all the antioxidants I can get!I'm excited to see if this helps with some sun damage and spots that I've accumulated over the years.
