Perfect for Fine, Thin Hair and Everyday Use! Love This!

I’m 52 and post-menopausal, and my hair has definitely changed over the past few years. It’s finer and a bit more fragile than it used to be, so I’m very careful about the conditioners I use. Heavy formulas tend to weigh my hair down or make it look greasy quickly.I already use a lot of Medicube skincare products, including their Age-R Pro device and several of their facial treatments, and I’ve always had great results with the brand. When I saw they started releasing hair care, I was really excited to try this Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Nourishing Conditioner, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. For context, I have fine hair cut in a chin-length bob, and I style it every day. My routine usually involves washing, blow drying, and finishing with a flat iron, so I need a conditioner that adds softness and manageability without making my hair limp. The texture is lightweight but still very conditioning. It spreads easily through the hair and rinses cleanly without leaving any heavy residue. After rinsing, my hair feels soft and smooth but still light and airy. What impressed me most is how well it works for fine hair. It hydrates and smooths the hair but doesn’t weigh it down at all. My hair still has movement and body after styling, which can be hard to achieve with many conditioners.Another big plus is how it performs throughout the day. With many conditioners, my hair starts to look oily or flat by evening, but with this one my hair still looks clean and fresh at the end of the day. That’s a huge benefit if you have fine hair that tends to get greasy easily.I also appreciate the scalp-focused approach with ingredients like rosemary and PDRN. It feels like it’s supporting scalp health while still conditioning the hair itself, which is something that becomes more important as hair changes with age. After blow drying and flat ironing, my hair looks smooth, shiny, and healthy without feeling coated or heavy.Overall, this is an excellent lightweight conditioner, especially for fine or aging hair. It gives softness, smoothness, and manageability while still keeping hair light and fresh-looking all day. I’m really impressed that Medicube has expanded into hair care, and this is a product I’ll happily keep using.

Lightweight, nourishing and refreshing

I ordered the matching shampoo to review these products as they’re intended to be used!First, the packaging is spot on. All ingredients are listed clearly in Korean and English, the box was sealed AND there’s a seal under the cap as well. Surprising how often luxury brands come unsealed but medicube as usual is clean and on point. The conditioner itself feels like silk and a little goes a long way. It has a soft clean rosemary fragrance. My hair is textured and needs a ton of moisture without adding buildup. I’m hoping the Rosemary PDRN formula will help fortify my hair from the roots and prevent breakage at the ends. It’s too early to report any long term results but without changing anything else in my hair routine it feels stronger and shinier. On days that I have co-washed the ends just feel so hydrated and soft even though I am months overdue for a haircut! And I’ve used less leave in products to get the same results. I was worried this might dry out my ends but so far so good.FWIW, my weekly hair routine is:Growth serum and shampoo (1-2x weekly)Rinse/conditioner most daysScalp serum on shampoo daysApply leave in treatment to ends and braid while dampSilk pillowcase- keyMornings- cool blow dry while still braided, shake out, add finishing creme and that’s that.On a rare day that I’m going to blow it out straight, I would probably choose a different shampoo and conditioner formula for a glossier finish.Hope this helps!

lots of ingredients; lovely and unique formula for scalp too

I ordered the medicube Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Nourishing Conditioner | Korean Hair Care, 8.45 fl.oz and I absolutely love it. I've been dying to try medicube for a looong time, and I'm elated that I've finally gotten to, especially for hair care!First, like it says in the title, you can apply this to your scalp! For the longest time in my life I didn't realize you're only supposed to apply to lengths of hair, so now I avoid my scalp religiously. Lately, it seems more brands have been taking the extra care to formulate conditioners that are consistent with being able to use all over. Like the product claims, the formula isn't heavy, and I found that this conditioner didn't leave residue on my scalp or hair. It's actually quite weightless and easy to work into the hair. It doesn't soften immediately—moreso when you wash it out. When I examined the conditioner I noticed little blue beads or sand within the formula. I'm not positive what these are; all I've found is that they're "capsules that gently dissolve" with PDRN × amino acids × protein to nourish the hair, and I'm not quite sure what that means in terms of formula. I will say it's the first time I've ever used conditioner with tiny capsules in it. I was worried they would stick around in my hair but they must have dissolved while I let the conditioner soak in. I would have to bring a mirror next time to confirm this, otherwise they must have washed out.As for the smell, it's incredibly mild and unisex. I've never used PDRN products before and I was worried it would smell fishy. Luckily, it has a light botanical, almost medicinal aroma, reminiscent of peppermint, tea tree or rosemary, but the scent is so delicate it's difficult to discern. If you're sensitive to smells this conditioner may be for you. I only wish medicube had left out "fragrance" from their formula. It's barely scented in the first place, nondescript, and entirely unnecessary.Considering there are a shocking amount of ingredients in this, I ran them through a checker and found around eleven products with questionable safety ratings (on an unofficial scale – make sure to research). It was mostly items added for fragrance, a preservative, antistatics, and an emulsifier. I feel as though a lot of these fragrant extracts could be left out. The antistatic ingredients do work. My hair was absolutely divine the next day. I've never seen it so smooth, and since I refrained from adding any of my leave-in oils, detanglers, or leave-in conditioners, I can attest to this product specifically. All I used in addition to it was my regular shampoo and conditioner (kind of necessary for bleached, damaged ends). This one was applied to the scalp, and that's where my hair seems the smoothest without feeling weighed down. I blow dry my hair for as little volume as possible because it's thick already, but I bet this would be highly supportive of a high volume style. It does appear to nourish the hair.As for the rest of the ingredients, they're mostly safe, and I see many natural derivatives. There are five potentially comedogenic ingredients so pay attention to how the hairline tolerates this. There are three potentially irritative ingredients. I felt no irritation from use and it did not make me break out or flake, so I'm thoroughly satisfied with this conditioner. Be sure to dry hair thoroughly before bedtime. The scent on hair almost completely dies away and is left smelling clean. The salmon PDRN is listed as "sodium DNA" on the label so you can find it there.Truly, medicube has a great product here, and I can't wait to try it in tandem with their paired shampoo as well as scalp treatment. For best results I'd highly recommend the whole set. This works on dry and damaged hair. Like other conditioners it doesn't lather, but a palmful coated my long thick hair pretty well, so I feel like it's a decent value at over 8oz for a Korean brand name product. In terms of moisturizing, smoothing, detangling, and softness the next day, look no further for your holy grail conditioner!

Moisturizing Conditioner With a Rose Scent That Stays Without Being Overpowering

I do wish I had been able to try this with the matching shampoo, since I usually feel like conditioners perform best when paired with the products they’re formulated to work with instead of being mixed and matched. Even on its own though, this conditioner impressed me.The scent is a soft floral that reminds me of roses. It’s very well balanced since it’s noticeable without being overpowering, which I really appreciate because floral scents aren’t usually my favorite. I was honestly surprised by how much I liked it. The fragrance stays in the hair for a while after rinsing and slowly fades instead of disappearing right away. Even after layering other hair products, I could still catch hints of the rose scent. The conditioner itself has a thick, creamy texture with excellent slip. I was able to easily finger-comb through my hair without running into tangles or snags. I have Type 4 hair that can get really dry, so I wasn’t sure how well this would work for my texture, but I was pleasantly surprised. After rinsing, my hair felt noticeably softer and moisturized without feeling weighed down. This is a lightweight yet effective conditioner that delivered more moisture and softness than I expected, especially for my hair type.

Does what it claims for the scalp and a fair conditioner!

Greetings!I have dry hair and scalp and have used a lot of much more expensive products than this one for less results.First you get a large tube that is full of product so for the money you get a lot of product so great value. It smells really good which is important and has a soft texture to go with the great smell.I applies easily and I left it on longer than the recommended 1-3 minutes before rinsing off. The first few applications I did not notice much change, However after a full week of use I noticed less itching on my scalp and my hair was somewhat softer. The itching was the surprise and frankly the one thing I wanted it to do and it appears to be doing just that!I may update this review after I finish the tube and it may get a full 5 stars but for now I think 4 is a great score as it accomplished the one thing it claims almost immediately, conditioned my scalp.I think the application is terrific, the time needed great and the ROI on such a small price fantastic. If they can get the hair conditioning to match the scalp portion this would be a hit !

New favorite

I’ve been really impressed with the Medicube Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Nourishing line. It’s one of the few hair care products that truly focuses on both scalp health and hair strength at the same time. After a few uses, my scalp felt refreshed and balanced, while my hair looked noticeably softer, shinier, and easier to manage. The formula is lightweight but still very nourishing, so it hydrates without making my hair feel heavy or greasy. One thing I love is the combination of rosemary and PDRN. The rosemary gives a fresh, clean feeling and helps support scalp health, while the PDRN complex is designed to help strengthen the scalp environment for healthier hair growth. The formula also includes ingredients like panthenol, niacinamide, and caffeine that help nourish the scalp and improve overall hair resilience. ()Another big plus is that the products are gentle enough for regular use and work well even for sensitive scalps. My hair feels stronger, looks fuller, and stays smooth throughout the day.Overall, this line is a great option if you’re looking for something that nourishes your scalp, strengthens your strands, and helps your hair look healthier over time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone dealing with dryness, scalp irritation, or weak hair.

Nice conditioner, non greasy

I'm always worried when the conditioner is suggested for use right on your scalp because mine tends to get oily very quickly so I always keep my moisturizing products on the lower half of my hair. This conditioner is actually really nice though and doesn't make my hair greasy or heavy at all, even when using it on my scalp. It has a subtle Rosemary scent that isn't overpowering or medicinal at all. It feels smooth on my wet hair and rinses out pretty cleanly. It doesn't detangle my hair as much as some others but I can always use another separate product on the ends of my hair if I need to. It does leave my scalp feeling clean and moisturized so overall I think it's a good product.

Great purchase.

Noticed a difference in hair first use. Has a medical grade smell though. It made my hair so soft and hydrated. It’s well worth the money.

Excellent

I bought it together with the shampoo and the cream. It’s really worth buying the combo—it’s more affordable, and using all three enhances the effect.

10/10!! Hair looks so good after using this!!

Yes Yes Yes!!! I’m a fan of Medicube skincare so when the hair care came out I jumped on buying it. I LOVE this stuff. Immediately my hair felt fuller, shinier, and I had way less breakage or hair falling out with brushing. I’ve also noticed that I can go an extra day or two between washing because it’s not greasy as fast. Also, this conditioner smells SO good!!! I feel like I’ve had a spa treatment everytime I was my hair now. This is my new go to!!!

Best Used With Medicube Shampoo

This medicube rosemary conditioner is not a leave in conditioner and needs to be washed out. It is a lightweight conditioner and says can be used from scalp to ends of hair. I only used from mid way to ends and it did leave my hair very soft and I was able to get a comb through with no problem. I have problems with my hair being frizzy and tangled and this did help with both problems. The conditioner is a cream but does not leave your hair oily. I do feel that this is a bit overpriced but really like it and will most likely purchase again.

Nice conditioner

I am liking this medicube Rosemary PDRN Scalp to Strand Nourishing Conditioner | Lightweight Yet Effective Care for Dry, Fine, Weak-Looking Hair | Amino Acid for Strength & Softness | Korean Hair Care. I have shoulder length thick hair with loose curls and find that sometimes, especially in our dry Indiana winters, that my hair can get fly-aways especially after diffusing. By using this conditioner, I have noticed a bit of a change in those fly-aways which is nice. The conditioner has a slight botanical scent which I assume is due to the rosemary, which I find pleasant. The product is creamy with little beads which are supposed to help nourish my hair. They seem to dissolve as the conditioner sits on my scalp and it rinses clean. I still follow up with my curly hair conditioner as this PDNR product doesn’t seem to leave my hair feeling quite as soft as my normal conditioner. I am happy to have had a chance to try this product but I do feel it is a little on the pricey side.

My hair is the softest it's ever been, and also getting stronger

My hair is oily at the roots and dry and damaged at the ends. I've been trying to repair my hair forever with a multitude of different products. Most intensive conditioners leave my hair weighed down and flat, but this one did not! It makes my hair so soft, but also voluminous. The formula is very creamy, with a slight grit. It felt tingly on my scalp as I left it there for 2 minutes to do its thing. This contains tea tree oil and peppermint oil, which most likely caused the tingling. It felt like my scalp was being stimulated and perhaps bringing more blood flow to the hair shafts. It also has a very nice rose scent. I normally need some kind of detangler to get a comb through my wet hair, but with this, I did not. There was no tugging or pulling; the comb just glided through. My hair felt so soft that I was nervous that it was going to be greasy and flat when dried, but after blow drying, my hair was full, shiny, and the softest I have ever felt. It was amazing how soft my hair was!For an intensive conditioner to not be oily on my naturally oily hair is truly a feat in itself.I've been using this every other day for about 2 weeks, and I notice less breakage. The strands also feel stronger. I think my hair is finally getting repaired. This is a very large tube, so there are many weeks of super soft, healthy hair coming my way

Leaves hair feeling light and clean

I have long blonde hair that is straight with a slight wave. The individual strands of my hair are extremely fine and, while my hair is not dry, I do have a problem with breakage. I have found that many conditioners that leave my hair soft and tangle-free also cause my hair to feel and look greasy. I was drawn to this conditioner primarily because of the rosemary content, since I thought that might prevent my hair from feeling greasy. The conditioner comes in a thick, creamy texture with little beads that are similar to the ones found in some cleansing products. Apparently, these beads burst while the conditioner is in the hair and provide additional benefit. Per the instructions, I focused on my scalp (as much as I could with long hair) and massaged the conditioner in. I had to add some additional water in order for it to spread throughout my hair. After sitting for a couple minutes, I found the conditioner rinsed cleanly, without leaving any residue. I didn't feel like the conditioner had much of a scent. I would have expected it to have more of an astringent odor because of the rosemary, but it really did not.My hair was pretty easy to brush after towel drying it, so I feel like the conditioner was beneficial in that regard. Poor quality conditioners cause my hair to tangle, so this Medicube conditioner was definitely a good one for preventing tangles. I usually blow dry my hair partially and noticed that my hair did look more dull than usual. The texture was nice, but it just lacked the same shine it usually has. I remedied this by applying some after-wash product and this restored the shine. Once completely dry, my hair did feel soft, healthy, and light, without any greasiness. Even at the end of the day, my roots still felt light and clean. Overall, I think this is a great conditioner and was especially impressed with the way it improved the texture and feel of my hair. I would highly recommend it.
