medicube Azelaic Niacinamide Clear Toner 4% 250 mL

I've been using Medicube products for years and I haven't been disappointed by their effectiveness or quality, especially considering their bargain pricing. This toner is no exception. I use mine in a little mist bottle to minimize waste and it goes on so easily. It's lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave my face feeling sticky or tight. Niacinamide helps to even skin irregularities and strengthen the barrier, while azelaic acid can help prevent minor breakouts, so it's a two-in-one toner here. I also haven't noticed any irritation while using this, which bodes well for long term use. Overall, it's another quality release by Medicube. I love this brand!

I’m loving this Azelaic Acid Toner from Medicube! It feels instantly cooling and soothing on my skin, and I feel like my skin looks less red after I use it. The texture is super watery with absolutely no body, which makes it perfect for anyone who wants the benefits of azelaic acid but hates how heavy or gritty azelaic serums can feel. It absorbs instantly with zero stickiness and never pills under heavier products like moisturizer and sunscreen - I feel like it also makes my makeup application smoother.The hydration is great with ingredients like glycerin and glutamic acid, and the gentle exfoliation from the fruit extracts gives me a nice smoothness without irritation. It’s completely fragrance-free, which my sensitive, mature combo skin always appreciates.The ingredient list is fantastic - azelaic acid, niacinamide, and licorice root are all high on the list and great for brightening. It also has two of my favorite antioxidants with four different forms of centella asiatica as well as sea buckthorn extract.The bottle is simple and no-frill, but it's very large at 250 ml, and it will last a long time. I’ve been using it for over a month in both my morning and evening routines and haven’t even made it through a quarter of the bottle. My pH test strips showed it at about a 7, which is a little higher than most of my skincare, but it still works beautifully in my routine.Cooling, calming, brightening, and feather-light, this has quickly become one of my favorite toners.

Leave it to Medicube to create a high quality product at an affordable price and that’s chuck full of amazing ingredients! If you aren’t familiar with Medicube they’re a very popular Korean skincare brand with a great reputation. One thing I love is that they listed all the ingredients for this toner on the product page so people can check it out before purchasing. I think that’s evidence to how confident they are in their product.This is a generous bottle of toner and the price is amazing quite frankly. The toner includes so many great ingredients it’s impossible to list them all. Not even their product description included some of the best aspects of this toner! Like the aloe, CICA ingredients, basil, sea buckthorn. I could go on but I think I made my point. It’s the kind of thoughtful product Korean skincare is known for.The toner itself is clear with the lightest tint of blue that naturally occurring. It’s a thin, lightweight toner that doesn’t make my skin feel heavy or greasy or even shiny or oily looking. It gives a very slight glimmer after use, almost a like an iridescent glow that’s attractive rather than unnatural looking. Although I do use some heavier toners, I do so at night since their shine is not a good fit (aesthetically speaking) for my skin. I have no such issue with this.Azelaic acid is supposed to be helpful for a few different issues, one of which is redness due to dry and irritated skin which is the issue I contend with, especially in the winter! The moisturizers and soothing ingredients in this are also what my skin needs when it’s acting up. It’s also used to help acne prone skin and hyperpigmentation so it’d really just a fantastic ingredient. I love that they included information about the amount of Azelaic acid in the toner! Another sign that they’re transparent and forthcoming about their products.So yeah, it’s a great toner to try.

This toner was much milder than I expected. It is helping my pores shrink. I really like this product. The only thing I did different, is that I put it in a spray bottle. It is great to mist.

For reference, my skin leans dry and easily dehydrated with mild visible redness, and I’m testing this during winter in a humid Florida climate, which can be a tricky balance for calming and clarity-focused products. The bottle itself is generously sized and feels sturdy, with a clean, minimal design in a beautiful teal-blue tone. It has a simple flip cap that pours easily without flooding your hand, which makes daily use feel effortless.The texture is very watery with a subtle slip, which I really enjoy. I prefer applying it with my hands rather than a cotton pad, so nothing gets wasted, and it spreads instantly across the skin. It absorbs quickly, leaving just a touch of initial tackiness that fades as soon as you move on to the next step. Despite notes about a possible powdery residue, I haven’t experienced that at all - on my skin, it disappears cleanly without leaving film or buildup. This is my second time trying a product from medicube, so my expecatations were already kinda high with my prior experience and with the talk around this brand.I have sensitive skin and I have had no issues with this toner so far. It doesn’t leave me with any redness and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry and tight either. It’s really cool and refreshing upon application and seems to absorb fairly quickly while also leaving my skin feeling hydrated without leaving behind a film or texture as it’s drying.I haven’t had any issues with breakouts either thus far, and I’ve been using this in my routine for several weeks now swapping between this toner and another. I appreciate the simplicity of the ingredients as well and that it’s fragrance free. Overall I am satisfied and I would say that the product came as described and as pictured.

Anything medicube is worth it

This toner exceeded my expectations. It’s so hydrating and it makes your skin feel silky. If you’re looking for a toner that brightens your complexion as well as makes your skin soft, then this is the toner for you. This toner is excellent in brightening your complexion as well as making your skin feel silky. Highly recommend and shipping time was excellent.

Works great so far.

I get hormonal acne under my chin and along my jawline once a month. Salicylic acid products are too harsh on my skin and cause it to peel, so the azelaic acid in this toner is perfect for me. It helps to reduce sebum production in my skin, which helps to make my breakouts less severe. I used to get deep, painful zits that lasted weeks and often left scars. They were so bad sometimes that I thought they were cysts! But thankfully this toner seems to have gotten rid of them for me. Knock on wood!

I love this toner so much! The clarifying effects from the niacinamide and azelaic acid combination are so strong and I have noticed a massive improvement in my skin complexion after about a month of use. My skin looks so much clearer and a lot of blemishes have faded a lot. The bottle is also massive, which is a great value for your money. This is overall excellent, especially if your skin is sensitive.

I like this toner. It has no scent and is good for sensitive skin as long as you can tolerate azelaic acid. It is not super strong, but it is a nice start to a skincare routine. I think this could benefit any skin type. If you have extremely sensitive skin it might not work for you. I do have sensitive skin, but my skin barrier is really healthy and strong. I previously wouldn't have tolerated this, but it works well for me now.

I have rosacea and acne. My skin is combination but mainly leaning dry with the change in seasons.I have had some closed comedones that I've been battling for weeks now. The multiple salicylic acid products that I've tried over the past year hadn't helped with my hormonal breakouts and eliminating the hormones was not an option. I had heard great things about Medicube and was so excited to see this 4% Azelaic Acid toner.The toner is blue, a thin liquid like water and absorbs into my skin easily. There is plenty of product in the bottle and I could probably use it twice daily for 6 months and still not be out of it. I was using the toner twice daily after double cleansing with an oil cleanser and facial cleanser.Unfortunately, I just didn't really see any improvements with this toner. My skin did dry out some though despite layering moisturizer on over it after letting it absorb for 15 or so minutes. Maybe it just wasn't a high enough percentage for my skin. I did see great improvements with a silver serum though, which I was highly surprised by.I would recommend this as a first step for those who haven't used a higher percentage of Azelaic Acid before and who think it may help them out. Unfortunately, it was a miss for my skin.
